It is apt and opportune to capture moments in my life, the way I see and experience them. These are indeed unique and precious moments that cannot be repeated or reverted to once they are gone. Besides text, my photographs serve to freeze and record my "Moments In Time" for posterity.

Stand on it, jump on it, stomp on it but the stubbornly hard shell of an ostrich egg holds the contents without breaking.
Saw the owner using a small power drill - I'm not joking! Perhaps, when it is time for the chick to hatch, the shell becomes thinner, making it easier for the chick to break free.
I have an ostrich egg at home with intricate drawings carved on it. It's an exquisite work of art. The invaluable workmanship was a gift from one of my mother's old flames, I think.

JP,
I just wonder how the baby ostrich can break the shell from within!

Do they use hammer to break the egg open? Or an axe?? ahhaha

Tony, that's a bizarre behaviour, if I'd read your post correctly :-)
