Not all who snorkelled were able to swim. This personal flotation device (PFD) was enough to keep non-swimmers bouyant and comfortable in the water. The face-mask and the breathing-tube enabled the snorkeller to view the corals and fishes in a prone position without the need to lift the head to breathe. However, inexperienced snorkellers can get carried away by the exotic corals and fishes and drift unknowningly into deeper waters where the currents are stronger.
